Despite epic surf, I whimped out and continued with my plan to go for a walk in the hills.

Drove to Glaslyn, including a little off-roading for the final mile or so, then walked around the lake and found geocache number one. From here I headed off along the valley and then up towards the Source of the River Servern and geocache number two. Wandered around up there for a while before heading back the way I'd come.

Lovely day for it, cold and frosty with a little snow on the top but cool and sunny in the valley.
